Many companies have email as their primary method of communication to customers and prospects. They therefore want to ensure the security of the emails.

Proof of Delivery

We can check for successful delivery of email at a number of levels.

  1. Guaranteed deliver can be effected by requiring the recipient to click on the email before the content is delivered. THis technique is also useful for delivering secure emails
  2. Image checking can be done to verify that a message has been opened, or previewed by adding a serial number to an image forming part of the message. (If image downloading is turned off then this method will not detect that the email has been read)
  3. Request a read receipt. This method is built into Outlook, and is used by many people. However, a user can turn off this facility is their outlook and you will not then receive a read receipt when the email is read

Proof of sender

It is important that your customers receive emails from you and not email from a 3rd party spoofing your address. You will be aware of emails claiming to come from banks where they want to take your login information.

We use both SPF and domain keys for outgoing messages.

Backup Email servers

We do not rely on one email server for the reception of emails. our backup servers ensure that the message is delivered onto our equipment, and not held in limbo on 3rd party servers.

Encrypted Emails

All email formats send messages as plain text, so, if you want to be able to send emails that nobody else can read, you should look at our encrypted emails.
